Step up your Flight Sim game with our new Version 4 desk-mounted trim wheel assembly!
Designed to give the look and feel of a small aircraft trim wheel, our control is made of rugged 3-D printed PLA or PETG plastic, and includes a long-life potentiometer, rated at 100,000 cycles. The assembly is geared to provide almost 3 full turns of the trim wheel, using the entire usable range of the potentiometers rotation, adding precision and realism. Our new curved indicator lets you know how far you are from the neutral position, and makes it easy to center the trim, with tick marks every 40 degrees, and a larger tick mark for center. Greatly increases immersion in your sim, as instead of clicking away on unrealistic keyboard keys, or using your mouse to adjust trim, you can use a control that mimics the real thing.
Comes with a mount that attaches to the top or bottom of your desk with 3 screws. The trim unit itself easily slides out of the mount for easy stowage when not in use. Unit is reversible for right or left handed use.
This new 2nd generation version trim wheel includes our new Trim-Lock, a unique end stop mechanism that will prevent you from over-turning the wheel and damaging the gears and potentiometer!
USB Control board will appear as a standard HID Joystick controller, identified as a "Gear-Falcon Elevator Trim" in your system devices, and has breakout pins for 8 digital inputs - you can upgrade it by connecting buttons, switches, encoders, etc.
Now comes with a 10 foot USB Mini-B cable.
Fully compatible on PC or MAC with any flight sim that allows you to map an analog axis to the elevator trim...MSFS2020, IL-2 Cliffs of Dover, IL2-BoX, XPlane, etc.
Attention MSFS 2020 users: Please remember to turn off "AI Auto Trim" in the Assistance menu or the AI will not let you trim the aircraft yourself.

If you don't want to attach the mount permanently to your desk, you can purchase the optional low-profile desk-mount clamp, that can be easily removed to be put away when not in use.

I bought The flaps switch, the throttle and the trim , The trim came broken, maybe it was during the shipment, but I called the customer service and they were really nice , immediately apologized and send me a replacement. I definitely recommend this company , products are great , affordable and the customer service is awesome . 10/10
The size is just right. The feeling is almost perfect. It just needed a bit more resistance which I provided by jamming a thin rubber pad between the wheel and the body. Installation was easy and straight forward. The instructions provided for identification and binding were clear enough despite the small screen shots. The trimming action it provides elevated the simulator experience and brings it a step closer to the real thing.
One minor issue, was the mounting option. If you try to mount the wheel as part of a panel and need to drill holes in the holder, beware as the 3D printed plastic is softer than injection molded plastic.

Excellent trim wheel!! Very high quality like the TPM easy to mount and very well built. Wheel turns with some resistants and has a visual indicator which is also very nice. I fly a 172 and it is similar to the real thing with some tweaks in MSFS.
I wish would have bought the optional mount and cable would been nice to mount it right under TPM and would have save d a USB mount .
This makes all the difference. For planes where you don't want to use one of Gear Falcon's available throttle/trim wheel combo like the FCP182a which I use for my Piper Comanche and my Cessnas, a standalone analogue trim wheel makes a lot of sense. Trimming aircraft goes from a painful chore with digital inputs, to a natural dream with the full range of analogue data available, allowing you to accomodate your level of trimming to the plane you're flying. Not only that, the product is great quality, plug and play, and feels awesome to use! A huge upgrade to any form of digital input and a purchase you won't regret!
